Miss Caitlin Cole the 2018 First Town Days Queen, will crown some lucky girl as the 2019 queen on Friday, June 28th with the pageantry beginning at 7:00 at N.P. Welty Middle School Auditorium.

A host of beautiful young ladies from Tuscarawas County will be competing for the title and a scholarship provided by New Philadelphia VFW #1445. Come share in all the excitement as Master of Ceremonies, Bill Morgan of WJER Radio directs these young women through the competition until one is selected Queen of the 2019 First Town Days Festival.

The pageant opens with vocalist Jerome James, introducing the contestants with a rendition of the pageant’s theme song, “Pretty Woman.” Each girl will have had a backstage interview. They will give a 30-second speech, present a talent and model an evening gown.

Once completed, the judges will make their selection.

Each year one young lady gets the thrill as she is crowned the new First Town Days Queen. She and her court will then begin the magical journey throughout the state of OHIO visiting many festivals as a representative of First Town Days and New Philadelphia, an adventure she will remember always.
